Plano, TexasTeeth Whitening
Many people are insecure about their smiles, many for different reasons. Whether you smile is misaligned or not as full as you would want it to be, there are many reasons why someone would not be one hundred perfect confident in their smiles. One of the most common reasons why people are not secure in their smiles is because of the color of their teeth. Having a dull, stained smile is something many people cannot seem to overcome, and they may think there is nothing that can help. Dr. Richard Ragnell understands how his patients feel when it comes to wanting their smiles to shine, and he is able to turn their smiles from dull to dazzling using Zoom! Whitening.
What affects the whiteness of my smile?
There are many things that can affect the luminosity of your smile. One reason is the foods and drinks you consume. Wine, tea, coffee and the like all have an effect on your smile’s brightness. Also, usage of tobacco products impacts your smile’s brilliance, as well as certain medications. Though some of these can cause minor surface stains, over time, the stains get deeper and deeper, making it more difficult to lift and remove. With Zoom! Whitening, in a single 45-minute visit, your smile can be brightened up to eight shades.
What are the side effects?
The most common side effect when whitening your smile is tooth and gum sensitivity. The good thing, however, is that Zoom has an adjustable intensity setting with the whitening, so this is able to make sure our patients are as comfortable as possible with the whitening process, both during and after. But, just to be safe, we recommend taking an ibuprofen the day of your whitening appointment.
How long will the results last?
Of course, while you continue to drink and eat certain tooth-staining foods, your results will fade slightly over time. The good news, however, is that your smile is able to stay permanent with simple, convenient at-home maintenance. You can be sure your smile will be perfect and radiant at all times with Zoom! Whitening!
